The language we use about this very sensitive topic is of extreme importance. Please be aware of the words you are using when referring to brain health issues. The suicide awareness community is forthright in ridding the word COMMITTED from our vocabulary because it criminalizes our lost loved ones. They did not commit a crime. They were mentally unwell.
